Volunteers at Work

We couldn’t do what we do without our great volunteers, here are photos from our latest projects getting the farm ready for visitors.

From dogs and horses to pigs and goats, we have a lot of the animal kingdom living and playing on the farm.

On October 28th, 2012 Sparrows Rest held a Fall Kickoff to bless and commission the horses for our Equine Assisted Therapy Program and dedicate Nathan Krauss’ Eagle Scout Project. The event was followed by a barbecue and Christian rock music by Bethel’s Ascension.

The accounting firm of Scheulen, Patchett & Edwards in Warrenton, Virginia participated in the 2nd annual CPA Day of Service at Sparrows Rest. Seventeen employees helped cut and remove brush, paint the barn and build a fire-pit complete with benches.
